Van Long Wetland Ecological
Van Long Wetland ecological locates in Gia Van Commune- Gia Vien District- Ninh Binh Province. Van Long Lagoon is fully impressive destination when people put their foot on Ninh Binh City. It looks like a poetic painting with available colours. Tourists will have enjoyable expericences that they can’t express just only words. They will be discovered many amazing things about the largest Wetland Ecological.
Van Long lagoon is estimated wih the total square of 3500 ha while 500 ha of which is submerged in water. Natural diversity is the matter that makes tourists so funny the most. Here there are many species of animals and plants. All of these create an abundant land. The surmerged area is surrounded by limestone mountain and residential area . There are three ecosystem here including residential ecosystem, limestone ecosystem and wetland ecosystem..

The species “ Vooc Quan Dui Trang” which is listed in Red Book are reserved on the Limestone Mountain. Ninh Binh people also awareness its importance and negatively action to protect them.
In van long lagoon there are three typical routes:
The first, you can sail on a small bamboo boat towars the fresh water flow and see the magic of Bong cave and Kem. Tourist could see the image Van Long Ecological extensively.
The second, you would observe many animals especially " Vooc quan dui trang" on the Limestone mountain. It seems that you would be lost in the wonderland that you don’t epect to go away anymorre.
The last, let’s visit Bai Vong Temple and Cua Chua Mountain. It is one of the historical destination for whom are inter

Guiness Vietnam has recognized with the purose of maintaning the largest picture of Meo Cao mountain and have the the largest troop of langur in Vietnam .
Some particular reasons that Van Long is calles as
“ No Wave Bay” . Perhaps Van Long terain is really quiet especial the water level here is only 1- 1,5 metter in deep. And the surmerged is surrounded by limestone moutain and residential area . So, in rainy season the water here very clear and clean without waves. It is the main reason why some scientists and persons often call it under the name " No Wave Bay".
Beside, we can see the fully sized picture of Meo Cao mountain. The mountain has stepped of cliff about 100-150 mettres in height. You can see there are many scraches on the moutain so that it’s name is Meo Cao mountain.
In Autum of Van Long you would be lived in the paradise of lotus. The Lotus was blooming and fragnant with the fully colours. When the scent of lotus reaches your nose, you can feel so fantastic. It makes the atmosphere here so peaceful.
